Class Update and President's Report

Read Class President Peter Busfield's Report on activity in the Zephyr Class. One important point to note is that the recently changed Class Rules have now been approved by Yachting New Zealand - the details are in Peter's Report.

As the newly approved class rules now apply any underweight boats will need - ‘corrector weights of equal amounts shall be fixed at the keelson adjacent to the aft bulkhead and aft section of the mast step cross member or in an equivalent position approved by the Chief measurer for those boats which do not have a conventional mast step cross member and/or an aft bulkhead’
